‘Weekend curfew’ in Delhi after corona infection rises
KATHMANDU: THURSDAY, APRIL 15, 2021 – The Delhi government has announced a weekend curfew after the corona outbreak got out of control.
The weekend curfew will be enforced from 10 pm on Friday to 6 am on Monday.
According to the new rules, malls, gyms, spas, auditoriums, markets and private offices will remain closed. Cinema halls will be opened to accommodate 30 percent of the audience, you will not be able to eat by sitting in the restaurant, while home delivery will be allowed.
Kejriwal made the decision after the number of corona cases in Delhi increased 25-fold in five weeks.
Chief Minister Kejriwal has said that curfew is a suitable option to fight against Covid.
So far, 767,000 people have been infected in Delhi. Of these, 750,000 have been cured and 11,540 have died.
