KATHMANDU: MONDAY, APRIL 12, 2021 – The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has invited stakeholders to discuss whether to close the school or not. The ministry is set to hold discussions with stakeholders today after the Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) suggested operating the school online, saying the Covid infection has increased.

Ministry spokesperson Deepak Sharma informed that representatives of the corporation, parents’ association, Pabson, N Pabson and others have been invited for the discussion to be held after 8 am. From the discussion, suggestions will be taken on how to run the educational institution after the transition increases.

The CCMC meeting had proposed to close the school for a few days and conduct online classes as the infection rate was increasing and more people in the school age group were infected. But Pabson issued a statement urging the school not to close.
