In Brazil, more than 4,000 Corona infections die in a single day
BRASILIA: THURSDAY, APRIL 8, 2021 – In the last 24 hours, more than 4,000 people have died of Corona in Brazil.
This is the first time since the outbreak of the corona virus in Brazil that so many people have lost their lives. The death toll from the infection has risen to 337,000 after 4,195 people lost their lives to Covid-19 in Brazil on Tuesday.

“We are in a dire situation, and we do not see any state or federal government taking effective measures,” said Ethel, an epidemiologist at Espirito Santo Federal University.
He said 10 per cent of the country’s population had been vaccinated in the first phase and that the only way to control the spread of the virus, which is currently spreading rapidly, was to carry out effective lockdown for at least 20 days.
