At least 59 people have been killed in fighting in Afghanistan over the past 24 hours

KABUL: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 7, 2021 – At least 59 people have been killed in insurgent activity and clashes in conflict-torn Afghanistan over the past 24 hours.

Eight civilians, nine soldiers and 42 Taliban fighters have been killed in the past 24 hours, according to a group monitoring the Afghan war.

The violence reduction group said 30 civilians, 38 Taliban fighters and seven security personnel were injured in the violence. According to the group, there were incidents of violence in 15 places across the country. (RSS – Xinhua)
