Manakamana cable car service will be closed for 6 days

KATHMANDU: MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2021 – The service of Manakamana Cable Car, the first cable car of Nepal, will be closed from Chaith 25 to Chaith 30.

According to Manakamana Darshan Pvt. Ltd., the cable car is being shut down as the first phase of the cable car upgrade is to replace the bull wheel bearings with new ones.

The cable car service will be closed for six days. The restaurant at the bottom station of the cable car will continue to operate during the period.

It has also stated that it will resume regular operation from Chaith 31 after the maintenance.
