According to meteorologist Sameer Shrestha, the visibility in Kathmandu is very low even today due to air pollution. Even if the visibility is slightly higher in the afternoon than in the morning, the pollution will remain. As the upper part of the atmosphere is stable, this situation may continue for a few more days.

He says pollution will not go away unless the western weather system is activated. Meteorologist Shrestha says that the western weather system is likely to be active from Wednesday.

For some time now, air pollution has only increased in major cities, including the Kathmandu Valley. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, problems such as itchy eyes and headaches are seen due to the increase in air pollution.

According to the Department of Environment, air pollution has increased due to fires in many parts of the country.
