Solidarity of the players in the construction of Gautam Buddha Stadium

KATHMANDU: MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2021 – Twenty-six players have expressed solidarity with the construction of Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium in Bharatpur Municipality of Chitwan under the leadership of Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation.

There are 26 players including Olympian Deepak Bista expressing solidarity. He is also the coordinator of the sports committee of Bista Stadium. In a joint statement issued on Sunday, they mentioned that the legacy of Nepali players is being built.

Recalling that the land for the construction of the stadium was handed over in the presence of top leaders of important political parties including Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the players were proud to be involved in this great campaign.
