KATHMANDU: MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2021 – Corona infection has been intensifying in India in recent days. Lately, India has been seen as a hotspot for corona infection.

The infection was confirmed in 133,793 cases on Sunday alone, according to World Meter, a site that updates data on Covid-19. Another 477 people have died in India due to covid infection.

At the same time, the number of corona infections in India has reached 12.5 million 87 thousand, while the number of deaths from corona has exceeded 165,000. Of those confirmed infected, about 11.6 million have been cured.

The average number of new cases of corona infection in India in the last one week is the highest in the world.

According to the Indian Ministry of Health, more than 90,000 cases of corona virus were confirmed in September. India ranks third in the world in terms of corona infection.
