United’s victory in the Premier League

KATHMANDU: MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2021 – Manchester United have won the English Premier League. United beat Brighton 2-1 on Sunday night.

Home team United made a great comeback and won. United trailed by one goal in the first half and won by two goals in the second half. Danny Welbeck scored in the 13th minute to give Brighton the lead. Brighton maintained a 1-0 lead until the first half but lost in the second half.

Marcus Rashford scored in the 62nd minute to give United a 1-1 draw. Manchester United beat Brighton 2-1 after Mason Greenwood scored in the 83rd minute. In other Premier League games, Southampton beat Burnley 3-2 while Aston Villa beat Fulham 3-1. Meanwhile, Tottenham and Newcastle have drawn 2-2.

Second-placed Manchester United have scored 60 points from 30 games with the win. Defeated Brighton has 32 points from 30 games. Top-ranked Manchester City have 74 points from 31 games.
