Nima, Bijayi, Mangal and Juni are the best

KATHMANDU: MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2021 – Nima Gharti Magar, Bijayi Sinjali, Mangal Prasad Tharu and Juni Rai have been declared the best players in the Wushu Award.

Nima in the women’s category and Bijayi Sinjali in the men’s category were selected as the best in the men’s category. Mangal was chosen as the best among men and Juni as the best among women. Deepak Hamal won the Emerging Player Award at the event held at Suryabinayak in Bhaktapur. Susmita Tamang was declared the ‘Most Valuable Player’.

According to the organizers, the players have been selected keeping in view the performance of the 8th National Games and the 13th South Asian Games (SAGS). All the award winning players are gold winners of the Eighth National Games. Six players also won medals in the 13th SAGA. All the players except Mangal had won gold in the 13th green. Mangal, on the other hand, won silver.
