KATHMANDU: SUNDAY, APRIL 4, 2021 – In the Far West, the government has given a public holiday tomorrow. The state government has given a public holiday on Chaith 23 on the occasion of Khakhadehra festival of Rana Tharu community.

Spokesperson at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law Mohan Raj Joshi said that the public leave was given as per the decision of the Council of Ministers of the state government on Jestha 23, 2077. The Rana Tharu people celebrate the Khakhadehra festival as the last day of the Hori festival.
