223 people benefited from the city health camp
KATHMANDU: SUNDAY, APRIL 4, 2021 – City Specialty Health Clinic has organized a free health camp at Anamnagar Chowk in Kathmandu.
Meena Thapa Magar, managing director of the clinic, said that 223 people were treated for free health check-up and blood donation program for heart disease, diabetes, thyroid and kidney disease. Magar said that free health check-ups, blood tests and medicines were distributed to the participants in the health camp.
According to Magar, 111 people donated blood on the occasion. Free screening of CBC, ESR, sugar, uric acid, creatinine, SGPT, RA factor, urine etc. was arranged in the camp.
In addition, thyroid test (TSH) is Rs 150, heart test (ECG) is Rs 100 and other tests are also discounted by 25 percent, said Director Magar. She said that a blood donation program was also conducted in collaboration with Triveni Youth Club.
A free health check-up program has been conducted in a joint project of City Specialty Health Clinic and Triveni Youth Club, Kathmandu Metropolitan Ward Office 29, Shikhar Youth Club, Kalika Mahabir Sport Club, Bir Ganeshman Singh, Citizen Service Center and Community Police Service Center.
