Liverpool win against Arsenal

KATHMANDU: SUNDAY, APRIL 4, 2021 – Former champions Liverpool have won the English Premier League. Liverpool beat Arsenal 3-0 on Saturday night.

Liverpool’s Diogo Jota scored twice and Mohamed Salah scored once against Arsenal. Liverpool played a goalless draw in the first half and won in the second half. Jota scored in the 64th minute to give Liverpool the lead. Salah scored in the 68th minute to give Liverpool a 2-0 lead.

Liverpool scored the third goal in the 82nd minute of the match. Jota scored to give Liverpool a 3-0 victory. In another match on Saturday, Leeds United defeated Sheffield United 2-1.

With the victory, Liverpool has risen to the fifth position in the league. Liverpool have 49 points from 30 games. Defeated Arsenal has 42 points from 30 games.
