BHOJPUR: SATURDAY, APRIL 3, 2021 – The construction work of Bhojpur Stadium, which is in the priority of the government of State No. 1, has been completed 85 percent. Construction of a stadium at Kodar near the district headquarters has been started by the Urban Development and Building Construction Office Dhankuta at a cost of Rs 145 million since last Mangshir.

Construction company Rayamajhi, Marseille JV has insisted that the work will be completed before the agreement if the government gives the budget on time, even if the construction period is till 2080 BS. Shyam Shrestha, head of the company, said, “Eighty-five percent of the stadium has been completed so far. If the government can send the budget on time, we will complete the construction in the current fiscal year.”

So far, the work of the office building, foundation and other structures has reached the final stage, while construction of parapets and retaining walls is underway, said the construction company. Similarly, dubbing work is also being done in the playground.

According to the Urban Development and Building Construction Office, seven parapets will be constructed in the 7,000-square-meter arena being constructed in an area of ​​25 ropanis to accommodate 5,000 people. On Friday, Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai also inspected the stadium under construction.
