Chance of rain with thunderstorms on Saturday

KATHMANDU: SATURDAY, APRIL 3, 2021 – There will be partial cloud cover in the hilly areas of the country and light rain with thunder and lightning in some places in the afternoon.

The Department of Water and Meteorology has forecast light rain with thunder and lightning in the afternoon in some parts of the hilly terrain due to the effect of local winds.

Even though it is sunny in the morning, the local wind has been active since the afternoon and there is a possibility of rain in the hilly areas. Currently, the weather is generally clear in the rest of the country with partial cloud cover in the hilly areas of the country.

Light rain with thunder and lightning is expected in some places in the afternoon.

According to the latest details of the Weather Forecast Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley on Saturday was 8.7 degrees Celsius and the maximum was 27.5 degrees Celsius.

Similarly, the minimum temperature of Jumla was minus one point nine degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature of Janakpur was 35.8 degrees Celsius.
