Demonstration saying government is indifferent to air pollution (photos)

KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, APRIL 2, 2021 – Youths affiliated with a group called Nepal have protested saying that the government is indifferent to control air pollution.

They staged a protest in front of the west gate of Singha Durbar on Friday to put pressure on the government to improve the deteriorating environment.

Protesters display placards stating that the restricted area to retrieve them with the police had dispersed. Police arrested 11 demonstrators by repeatedly.

Tightening the security arrangements there, the police also searched the bags of ordinary youths walking on the road.
