Successful operation of former Vice President Jha at KMC

KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, MARCH 26, 2021 – Former Vice President Parmananda Jha has undergone successful gallbladder surgery at Kathmandu Medical College in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.

According to the Kathmandu Medical College, gallbladder of former Vice President Jha were removed by laparoscopy.

Former Vice President Jha was admitted to KMC Hospital on Tuesday to undergo surgery as per the doctor’s advice.

A team of doctors including KMC Senior Surgeon Prof. Dr. Suman Shrestha, Dr. Prabin Thapa, Dr. Yugal Limbu and Dr. Bishal Thapa have successfully operated on the patient and removed the gallbladder.

KMC general manager Narayan Dahal said that Jha’s health condition was normal after the operation. According to Dahal, preparations have been made to discharge Jha on Friday.

After Dr. Sunil Sharma, who is also the director of the prestigious Nobel Medical College in Eastern Nepal, assumed the responsibility of KMC President, now KMC has started making strides in health treatment and medical education.
