Government urges to be more vigilant in schools

KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, MARCH 26, 2021 – The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has urged schools to be cautious, saying the corona infection could increase again.

The ministry issued a notice on Thursday urging the school to use masks / sanitizers when going to school, wash hands with soap & water, the school has been requested to create an environment to take the child to the health facility immediately if there is any sign of fever and infection

The ministry has also requested that the school should not be crowded and no program or meeting should be held during the transition period.

Similarly, the ministry has also requested to fully follow the ‘School Operating Framework, 2077’ issued by it and to adopt the criteria as decided by the local government subject to that framework.
