Germany’s victorious start

KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, MARCH 26, 2021 – Germany have made a winning start to the World Cup qualifiers in Europe. Germany beat Iceland in a game on Thursday night.

Home team Germany defeated Iceland 3-0. Leon Goretzka, Kai Havertz and Ilkay Gundogan scored in Germany’s victory. Germany took a two-goal lead in the first half and scored another goal in the second half.

Goretzka scored in the second minute of the game to give Germany the lead. Germany took a 2-0 lead early in the game when Kai Havertz scored in the seventh minute. Gundogan scored in the 56th minute to give Germany a 3-0 win over Iceland.

Romania beat Northern Macedonia 3-2 in the next match of Group J of Germany.
