One arrested for rape

KATHMANDU: THURSDAY, MARCH 25, 2021 – Police have arrested a man from Saptari on charge of committing rape.

Police have arrested 28-year-old Sanjay Mandal of Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality-4 on charge of raping a 30-year-old woman.

According to the police, the accused Sanjay was arrested on the basis of information that he went to her house on Sunday night and threatened her. Police is conducting further investigation in this regard.
