Infection in India is high, 53,000 added in one day

KATHMANDU: THURSDAY, MARCH 25, 2021 – Covid-19 infection is on the rise in India. The number of infected people has been increasing since last year.

According to the Union Ministry of Health, the infection has been confirmed in 53,476 people across the country in the last 24 hours. More than 50,000 people were found infected in India on Wednesday in a period of five months. A total of 251 people were killed on Wednesday alone.

So far, 1,17,87,534 people in India have been infected with corona. Of them, 160,692 people have lost their lives due to Covid-19 so far. The second wave of infection has spread in India.
