World Cup selection: Belgium wins

KATHMANDU: THURSDAY, MARCH 25, 2021 – Belgium have beaten Wales in a World Cup qualifier. Belgium beat Wales 3-1 on Wednesday night.

Kevin De Bruyne, Thorgan Hazard and Romelu Lukaku scored in Belgium’s victory in Group E. Here, Harry Wilson scored for Wales. Harry scored in the 10th minute to give Wales the lead. But Wales was unable to maintain that lead.

Kevin scored in the 22nd minute to give Belgium a 1-1 draw. Thorgan scored in the 28th minute to give Belgium a 2-1 lead in the first half. Lukaku scored from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute to give Belgium a 3-1 victory.

In the other match of the same group, Czech Republic defeated Estonia 6-2.
