Banned Holi playing in Baitadi

KATHMANDU: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24, 2021 – The District Administration Office has banned playing Holi in Baitadi.

As it is a district bordering India, the risk of corona infection has increased and Holi has been banned. Similarly, it has been said to use mandatory mask when going out of the house. The administration has stated that action will be taken according to the Infectious Diseases Act if the mask is not used.

As the border with India is close, people coming through the border can be tested for corona infection. The administration has instructed to use mandatory mask, maintain physical distance and use sanitizer if you have to go to crowded places.

Necessary preparations have also been made to make the service of the health center more effective by keeping the quarantine and isolation rooms in operation.
