6 youths arrested with brown sugar

UDAYAPUR: TUESDAY, MARCH 23, 2021 – Police have arrested six youths with brown sugar from Namuna chowk of Fatehpur Rampur Road in Chaudandi Municipality-4 of Udayapur District.

Chief of the District Police Office, Udayapur, Bhim Prasad Dahal said that six youths were arrested with drugs including brown sugar while checking two autos coming from Beltar from Fatehpur in Saptari district on Monday evening.

The arrested are Khagendra Rai, 30, of Triyuga Municipality-13, Deepak Rai, 24, Hari Khadka, 24, and Sunil Rai, 23, of Chaudandigadhi Municipality-5, according to the District Police Office, Udayapur. Similarly, 25-year-old Rishi Kumar Chhetri and 20-year-old Bablu Mukhiya of Kankalini Municipality-7 of Saptari District have been arrested, according to Udayapur Police.

According to the Udayapur Police Office, 3.9 grams of brown sugar, seven bottles of Corex and some cannabis were caught from them. Police said that the investigation has been started by keeping the six arrested persons at the Area Police Office, Beltar.
