One died, 22 injured in school bus accident

DANG: TUESDAY, MARCH 23, 2021 – One person has died in a school bus accident in Dang district. According to the Area Police Office, Tulsipur, the bus (Ra 1 Ka 433) of Gyanjyoti Secondary School in Tulsipur met with an accident at Saraiyadanda Chowk of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-15.

The deceased has been identified as Samjhana KC, 19, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-16, said Shiva Bahadur Singh, Chief of Area Police Office, Tulsipur. Twenty-two students have been injured in the accident. Five of the injured have been shifted to Kohalpur-based Teaching Hospital for further treatment while others are undergoing treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur.

It is said that a bus carrying students of class 11 and 12 from Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan-15 Kotheri to Tulsipur met with an accident due to sudden brake failure.
