Juventus defeated at home

KATHMANDU: Former champions Juventus have lost in Italian Serie A. Juventus stunned Benevento 1-0 on Sunday night.

After losing to Benevento at home, Juventus’ title journey has taken a hit. After a goalless draw in the first half, Juventus scored in the second half. Adolfo Gaich scored in the 63rd minute to give Benevento a 1-0 victory.

In another match on Sunday night, AC Milan defeated Fiorentina 3-2. Napoli beat Roma 2-0 while Atalanta beat Verona 2-0. Lazio beat Udinese 1-0, while Torino lost 1-0 to Sampdoria.

With the loss, Juventus has 55 points from 27 games. Top-ranked Inter Milan have 65 points from 27 games, while second-placed AC Milan have 59 points from 28 games.
