Corona infection may increase again: Ministry of Health

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has urged people to take precautionary measures against the recurrence of corona infection. The ministry issued a statement on Sunday urging the ministry to adopt the criteria issued in the past.

A statement signed by ministry spokesperson Dr. Jageshwar Gautam said, “Stakeholders are requested to assist in the prevention of infection by following social / physical distance, mandatory and proper use of masks, regular hand washing with soap and water or regular use of sanitizer and other health standards issued by the ministry.”

The ministry has also urged not to crowd unnecessarily. Stating that the infection rate is increasing in the neighboring countries, the ministry has urged to take extra precautions.
