Mega Bank became a partner bank of the Asian Development Bank
KATHMANDU: Mega Bank Nepal Limited has become a partner bank of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Mega Bank has become the eighth partner bank of the Asian Development Bank among the ‘A’ class commercial banks in Nepal. Adhering to the concepts of sustainable development goals, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has introduced Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program for inland trade with the objective of promoting small, medium enterprises and manufacturing industries through banks and financial institutions of the member countries. The partnership between Mega Bank and ADB is aimed at promoting Nepal’s small and medium enterprises and productive sectors.
With this partnership, customers doing international trade and business through Mega Bank will now be able to do business easily. When issuing letters of credit for import and export of goods, the Asian Development Bank works to issue letters of guarantee.
Mega Bank Nepal Limited is confident that this will help in the promotion of Nepal’s business as well as in job creation.
