New branch of NCC Bank at Hakim Chowk, Chitwan
KATHMANDU: Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank Limited (NCC Bank) has expanded its branch in Bharatpur, Chitwan. NCC Bank has opened its branch at Hakim Chowk in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-9 of Chitwan district.
Chairman of NCC Bank Upendra Keshari Neupane inaugurated the branch office on Monday.
Chairman of Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Raju Shrestha, Chairman of Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Raju Poudel and representative of Bharatpur Municipal Corporation-9 Kishor Sapkota were present as guests at the program presided over by Chairman Neupane.
On the occasion, the bank has handed over QR codes to various businesses to facilitate financial transactions. Handing over the QR code, Upendra Keshari Neupane, Chairman of the Board of Directors of NCC Bank, informed that the bank would serve the farmers by bringing a farmer-centric program in coordination with the local body officials.
He also mentioned that since the banking business is not only business oriented but also service oriented, the business should be run by giving priority to the service and the main responsibility of the employees of NCC Bank is customer service and satisfaction. He said that the relationship between the bank and the customer could be made sustainable if the bank not only protects the money but also develops the attitude of supporting business and businesses.
Speaking on the occasion, Raju Shrestha, president of the Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that there were about 20,000 private entrepreneurs for the overall economic and social transformation of the Bharatpur region. He also shared his experience of facilitating work and providing high quality service with the employees of NCC Bank.
Similarly, Raju Poudel, president of the Chitwan Industries Association, said that NCC Bank has been contributing to the country’s economy by promoting the relationship between industry and production between banks and financial services and promoting entrepreneurship. Similarly, Kishor Sapkota, a representative of Ward No. 9, said that he has been a customer of the bank for the last 16-17 years and now he is happy to open a branch in his own backyard. He also suggested that the bank should invest in agriculture and employment promotion.
Welcoming the gathering, Ramesh Raj Aryal, CEO of the Bank, said that NCC Bank has been providing simple, accessible, up-to-date, reliable and secure banking services as the banking sector has an important role to play in the overall economy and personal economic activities. Aryal had requested all the entrepreneurs to avail services through the bank with the expectation that the branch would help in the overall economic development of Chitwan district.
NCC Bank, which has a nationwide branch network, operates a total of 128 branches in all seven provinces and eight extension counters. Similarly, the bank is providing quality service to its customers by operating 107 ATMs across the country.
