Educational materials for students of Khaptad Chhededaha by Himalayan Bank

KATHMANDU: Himalayan Bank Limited has distributed educational materials to 31 community schools in Khaptad Chhededaha village municipality during a function under its corporate social responsibility.

The materials were handed over to the school principals and school representatives at a model village declaration meeting organized on the occasion of the ‘One House One Bank Account’ campaign conducted in collaboration with Himalayan Bank and Khaptad Chhededaha Village Municipality for the first time in Nepal.

Mr. Subash Chandra Ghimire, Director, State Office, Dhangadhi, Mr. Mrigendra Pradhan, Executive Operations Officer, Himalayan Bank, Mr. Saroj Regmi, Chief, Far Western State, Mr. Karan Rijal, Branch Chief, Chhededaha Branch and Mr. Rabahadur Rawat, Chairman, Village Municipality were present on the occasion.

While fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, the bank has handed over the educational materials to the community schools in Bajura district as part of its initiative to improve the educational standards of the people of Chhedadaha, said Pradhan.

Similarly, Rawat, chairman of the program and chairman of the village municipality, thanked the bank for its cooperation and support.
