Bamdev Gautam is now in the UML unity campaign
KATHMANDU: UML Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam’s group has drawn the attention of Prime Minister and party chairman KP Sharma Oli to correct the decision. The meeting of the Gautam-led Ekta Abhiyan objected to Oli’s illegal move and demanded immediate rectification of the decision of the so-called ‘meeting’.
The meeting concluded that Oli’s move was pushing the communist movement towards an end. “KP Oli’s announcement on Friday has not only eroded his leadership ability, but also the development of individualism, egotism, libertarianism and priesthood, pushing him towards the end of the communist movement,” said Baburam Thapa, secretary of the campaign after the meeting.
The meeting has also decided to launch a nationwide campaign against the arbitrary decision within the party. The statement said, “Therefore, we strongly appeal to the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) to rectify the wrong decision and run the party line on the basis of the constitution and political report passed by the Ninth General Convention.”
