Porto enters the quarterfinals after beating Juventus
Kathmandu. Juventus are out of the pre-quarterfinals of the Champions League. Italian club Juventus won 3-2 on Tuesday night, but Porto reached the quarterfinals on away goals.
Juventus and Porto drew 4-4 on aggregate in the first and second leg. In the first leg, the home team Porto defeated Juventus 2-1. Porto scored two goals in the away game while Juventus scored only one goal in the away game.
In the second leg, Sergio Oliveira took the lead for Porto against Juventus in the 19th minute. Federico Chiesa scored in the 49th minute to give Juventus a 1-1 draw. In the 54th minute, Mehdi Taremi was shown a double yellow card and left the field. Porto was limited to 10 players. Federico scored another goal in the 63rd minute to give Juventus a 2-1 lead.
Juventus took a 2-1 lead in the allotted 90 minutes, but after a 3-3 draw, 30 minutes were added. Sergio scored in the 115th minute of the game to give Porto a 2-2 draw. Juventus won the game 3-2 in the 117th minute after a goal by Adrien Rabiot. However, in the first leg and the second leg, Juventus drew 4-4 on aggregate, but Porto reached the quarterfinals of the Champions League on the basis of away goals.
