‘Madrid Derby’ draw

Kathmandu. In Spanish La Liga football, the ‘Madrid Derby’ is tied. Atletico Madrid, the top team in the league, drew 1-1 with Real Madrid.

Atletico Madrid lost at home to Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid’s Luis Suarez scored the goal. Meanwhile, Karim Benzema scored for Real Madrid. Suarez scored in the 15th minute to give Atletico Madrid a 1-0 lead.

Real Madrid, trailing 1-0 in the first half, equalized in the second half. Karim Benzema scored in the 88th minute to give Real a 1-1 draw.

In other La Liga games, Celta Vigo beat Huesca 4-3, Athletic beat Granada 2-1 and Real Sociedad beat Levante 1-0.

Atletico Madrid, who are at the top of the league, have 59 points from 25 games. Second-placed Barcelona have 56 points from 26 games. Third-placed Real Madrid have 54 points from 26 games.
