‘Covid mortality rate 10 times higher in overweight’

Kathmandu. A study has found that Covid mortality rates are 10 times higher in the country for those who are underweight than for those who are overweight.

According to a report released by the World Obesity Federation on Wednesday, cod mortality rates are relatively high in the country of overweight people.

The study was based on data from Johns Hopkins University and the World Health Organization, according to CNN.

Of the 2.5 million people who died of Covid as of the end of February, 2.2 million were from countries where more than half the population is overweight.
