Kabul. At least 90 people have been killed in 24 hours of violence in Afghanistan. The Taliban insurgency continues in Afghanistan despite talks with the government.

“Eight Afghan civilians and five members of the National Security Council have been killed in the past 24 hours in violence, including Taliban attacks in various parts of Afghanistan,” Reeve said.

At least 77 Taliban insurgents have been killed in operations by Afghanistan’s national security forces. The Taliban were killed during an operation by government forces against the Taliban.

According to the organization, which monitors the ongoing war in Afghanistan, another 33 civilians and 31 Taliban were injured in the violence.
