At least 23 militants have been killed in air strikes in Afghanistan

Kathmandu. At least 23 Taliban fighters have been killed in an airstrike against Taliban fighters hiding in the Qaysar and Almar districts of Afghanistan’s northern province of Faryab, army spokesman Mohammad Hanif Rezai said on Thursday.

Seven other Taliban fighters were wounded in the operation. Taliban militants active in Faryab province have not commented.
