Addressing from the same platform, Prime Minister Oli and Biplov
Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplov’ are addressing from the same platform. After the government lifted the ban on the Chand group, Prime Minister Oli and Biplov will address a special ceremony at 2 pm.
The government had banned the activities of the Chand group from 2077 28th of Falgun. The formal announcement of the ban will be made today after the signing of a memorandum of understanding and a joint address by Prime Minister Oli and Chand Group General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand. Secretary General Chand is also going public through the signing ceremony of the MoU.
Following the Fukuyama and Chand Group’s commitment to peaceful mainstream politics, the government has now begun legal proceedings to release some of the group’s leaders and activists who are in prison during the trial. The Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday directed all the district administration offices to release the leaders and activists of the Chand group to settle the issues being looked into by the Chief District Officer.
