Dahal-Nepal decision to remove Oli from parliamentary party leadership
Kathmandu. The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal has passed a resolution to remove Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli from the post of parliamentary party leader.
A meeting of the Dahal-Nepal CPN (Maoist) Standing Committee held in Paris Danda on Wednesday decided to remove Prime Minister Oli from the post of parliamentary party leader.
Along with this, a proposal has been passed to remove Subash Nemwang from the post of deputy leader of the parliamentary party and Shanta Chaudhary from the post of whip.
Party leader Lilamani Pokharel said that they were punished for working outside the party’s activities.
Today’s meeting has also expelled leaders including Mahesh Basnet, Bishal Bhattarai, Shanta Chaudhary, Surya Thapa, Prabhu Sah and Karna Bahadur Thapal from the Central Committee.
