Baghdad. At least 10 rockets were fired at a U.S. military base in western Iraq on Wednesday. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a U.S. military base.

The U.S. and Iraqi forces are stationed at the U.S.-led Ain al-Assad military base to assist the Iraqi army in operations against Islamic State groups active in Iraq.

The U.S. military says a car bomb had exploded at an Iraqi police recruiting center at Kisak, west of Mosul. Iraqi security sources said the missiles were of Iranian-made Arash model. These missiles are 122 mm artillery rockets and some heavy types. – RSS / AFP
