A young man arrested for piracy has been made public

Kathmandu. Sujan Pariyar of Beshi Sahar in Lamjung has been made public through a press conference organized by the Film Development Board.

Police had arrested a 25-year-old man a few days ago on charges of piracy of Damaru’s films including Dandibiyo and Sarauto. Pariyar had unauthorisedly pirated the movie from the ‘Cinema Ghar Gold’ app and uploaded it through the Telegram application.

Director Kharel said that a case would be filed against Pariyar for pirating the movie in the app launched by the team of actor Khagendra Lamichhane and Sagar Kharel.

Actor Lamichhane said that the film industry was hit by piracy and Pashupati Prasad was still suffering from piracy. Pariyar has been arrested by the Metropolitan Crime Branch and kept at the Metropolitan Police Complex in Teku.
