Free health camp at Manohara by KMC
Kathmandu. Kathmandu Medical College has conducted a free health camp in Manohara Municipality of Kathmandu on Tuesday. Manohara Municipality Ward No. 2. The camp has been conducted at the local Alapot health post in collaboration with the two.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Manohara Mayor Krishna Hari Thapa, KMC Chief Management Consultant Dr. KP Sharma, Nobel Medical College Manager and Camp Manager Narayan Dahal said that the free camp was organized targeting poor and vulnerable patients.
Camp manager Dahal informed that 963 patients were treated free of cost in the camp. According to him, lav test of 213 people, video X-ray of 198 people and ECG of 153 people have been done. Similarly, the teeth of 42 people with dental problems have been extracted.
In the camp, the team including specialist doctors treated in medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, ear, nose and throat, eye diseases, dental diseases, joint and nerve diseases, skin diseases and mental illness.
