Iceberg beer now in new flavors and labels
Kathmandu. Nepal’s established brand ‘Iceberg’ beer has come to the market with new taste and label from Monday.
CG Holdings, which owns most of the Himalayan Brewery, bought the beer with new flavors and labels. The company held a special event on Monday to unveil the new flavor and label of iceberg beer.
Iceberg, which has been popular in the Nepali market for three decades, can now be consumed by consumers with a new taste, the company said. This beer is produced by treating the water of Godawari spring using beer spring water.
Various brands of liquor from Trishakti Distillery, a subsidiary of Himalayan Brewery, have also been launched with new labels. Especially for Nepali youths, this strong beer of iceberg with 7% alcohol is brought to the market in a premium feature, but the price of a 650 ml bottle has been fixed at Rs. 285. Himalayan Brewery has also launched Commando brand in the strong segment.
The company claims that Iceberg will get a good market soon as it has already become very familiar to Nepali consumers.
