Kathmandu. The fourth edition of the Everest Premier League (EPL) cricket is scheduled to take place next Ashoj.

Organizer EPL Cricket has informed that the tournament will be held on Sunday from 9 to 23 Ashoj.

This date has also been approved by the Nepal Cricket Association (NCA), said EPL Cricket Managing Director Amir Akhtar.

He said that only the date of the competition has been fixed and the rest will be given in detail. Earlier, the competition was scheduled to be held in Kirtipur from Chaitra 1 to 15, but it was postponed due to the epidemic.

The tournament will feature world-renowned players including Chris Gayle, Sri Lanka’s Upul Tharanga and Kevin O’Brien.

Director Akhtar claimed that all the previously contracted players including them would also play in the upcoming tournament. The franchise teams of 6 cities will compete in the competition.

The previous winner of the competition is Lalitpur Patriots team. Along with Lalitpur, Kathmandu Kings XI, Pokhara Rhinos, Chitwan Tigers, Bhairahawa Gladiators and Biratnagar Warriors will compete in the competition.
