A stone was hurled at the vehicle carrying Ishwar Pokharel

Nuwakot. Leaders / activists led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Kumar Nepal have tried to vandalize the vehicle of Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel.

Student leaders and activists pelted stones at the vehicle carrying Deputy Prime Minister Pokharel. According to Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office, Nuwakot, Jhank Nath Dhakal, Pokharel’s vehicle was not damaged. “The stone was hurled at the minister’s vehicle,” Dhakal told Makalu Khabar. “However, the vehicle and the minister were not harmed.”

According to Adhikari Dhakal, a stone targeted at Deputy Prime Minister Pokharel’s vehicle shattered the glass of a nearby vehicle. Officer Dhakal said that the police dispersed the cadres after they tried to use force.

It is learned that three cadres were injured in the incident. Currently, the situation is under control and Minister Pokharel is participating in the program.

Deputy Prime Minister Pokharel and Industries Minister Lekhraj Bhattal had gone to Bidur, the district headquarters of Nuwakot, to address the program on Monday.
