Young man killed, young woman injured in motorcycle accident

Damauli. A youth has died in a motorcycle accident near Buldi Bridge in Beyas Municipality-2 of Tanahu on Saturday night. A young woman has been injured in the accident.

The deceased has been identified as Bivek Thapa Magar, 22, of Byas-2, Malebagar, said Yuvraj Timilsina, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office. Rajni Gurung, 20, of the same place was injured in the accident.

A motorcycle heading towards Ghansikuwa from Damauli overturned uncontrollably, injuring Bivek’s head. He died at Damauli Hospital, police said.

It is estimated that a motorcycle accident took place when the road became slippery due to rain since Saturday evening. – Rasas
