Baitadi. Meeting of Nepal-India District Level Border Security Coordination Committee has concluded. The meeting was held in Jhulaghat, India.

According to Narayan Prasad Adhikari, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Baitadi, the two sides agreed to exchange information on transnational border crime and control of smuggling of illegal arms and ammunition and maintain law and order.

According to him, the two countries have agreed to coordinate for the control of crime at the border, exchange information before and during disasters, control revenue leakage and check the health desk at the border.

On behalf of Nepal Pranau Officer of Baitadi, Baitadi Chief of the Armed Police Force Ganesh Shah, representatives of the Customs Office and RK Rajeshwari, Vice Commander of the Indian Border Security Force, representatives of the Indian Police and the Customs Office were present.
