MPs of the House of Representatives will get three months salary at a time

Kathmandu. With the government’s decision to dissolve the House of Representatives overturned, members of the House of Representatives will receive a three-month lump sum salary.

The salaries of the members of the House of Representatives were withheld from Poush 5 after the President dissolved the House of Representatives on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.

Now, 275 members of the House of Representatives will get the lump sum salary for Poush, Magh and Falgun, according to the Parliament Secretariat.

With the Supreme Court overturning the decision to dissolve the House of Representatives on Falgun 11, the members of the House of Representatives will now receive three months’ salary along with Falgun’s salary.
