New Zealand won the match by losing 8 wickets and restricting Australia to 215 runs. With the win, the home team New Zealand has taken a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.

Australia’s Marcus Stoinis (78), Jose Phillips (45) and Daniel Sam (41) were not enough to help the team win. New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner took 4 wickets and Jamie Neesham took 2 wickets.
