Covid vaccination campaign begins in Afghanistan

Kabul. A vaccination campaign against Covid-19 has started in Afghanistan from Tuesday.

The vaccination campaign has been started from 500,000 doses provided by the Government of India. According to the Afghan government, the vaccine will be given to doctors, security personnel and journalists in the first phase.

President Ashraf Ghani has launched the first phase of the vaccination campaign, saying it is a great opportunity for the Afghan people.

About 55,600 people have been infected with corona in Afghanistan, including 2,430 deaths.
