Husband killed by Spade

Mahendranagar. A woman of Bhurkot of Belauri Municipality-6 of Kanchanpur has killed her husband by attacking him. According to police, Basanti Chaudhary, 28, killed her husband Om Kumar Chaudhary, 30, in the morning.

Amar Bahadur Thapa, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, said that it was understood that Basanti had attacked Spade in a domestic dispute. “A police team has arrived at the spot at around 5 in the morning after receiving information about the incident,” he said. The body was found inside the house with head injuries.

Meanwhile, Prem Thapa, 76, of Bhimdatta Municipality-2 of Kanchanpur, who was injured in a domestic dispute between his daughter-in-law and grand son, has died while undergoing treatment. Police have arrested 35-year-old Sita Thapa and her 18-year-old son Arjun. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Thapa, the two had beaten the old man on Magh 28.
